Objectives
Our services include:
Surveys: We conduct surveys to gather data on the needs, preferences, and challenges faced by older adults in urban settings. These surveys help identify areas for improvement and guide the development of age-friendly initiatives.
Baseline Studies: We conduct baseline studies to assess the current state of age-friendliness and identify gaps that need to be addressed. These studies provide a foundation for developing targeted interventions and policies.
Consultative Meet: To discuss age-friendly activities and evaluate different domains with the assistance of expert panels from various sectors in the city.
Focus Group Discussions: We facilitate focus group discussions with older adults, caregivers, and community members to gather insights and feedback on age-friendly initiatives. These discussions help ensure that programs are tailored to the specific needs of the community.
Participatory Rural Appraisals (PRA): We use PRA methods to engage community members in the planning and implementation of age-friendly projects. This participatory approach ensures that initiatives are community-driven and sustainable.
Resource Mapping: We conduct resource mapping exercises to identify existing resources and services that support older adults in the community. This helps optimize resource allocation and strengthen the support network for older adults.
Demonstration Projects: We develop and implement demonstration projects to showcase innovative approaches to creating age-friendly cities. These projects serve as models for replication and scaling up in other communities.
